Medford Immigration Attorney
Alan Duran was born in Hidalgo, Mexico, but he has spent most of his life in the state of Oregon. Being an immigrant himself, it became Alan’s goal to help others in his community. Before starting law school, Alan worked for Acorn Outreach a non-profit organization that provided immigration legal services to the community in Corvallis, Oregon. Despite taking a broad course load during law school, Alan’s goal was to practice immigration law. An externship with Valley Immigration Training and Legal Services allowed Alan to gain hands-on experience in the immigration field while being supervised by an experienced attorney. Alan has the privilege of representing clients in both transactional and removal cases.
Alan received his B.A. in English from Oregon State University in 2014 and his J.D. from the University of Oregon in 2017. Alan was an active member of the Latin@ Law Student Association at U of O and he was active in other organizations that represented minority law students. In 2017 Alan became a member of the Oregon State Bar. He is also a member of the Jackson County Bar Association. When he is not working on cases and representing clients in court, Alan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
